Khloe Kardashian wouldn’t let Caitlyn Jenner visit Lamar Odom in hospital

Khloe Kardashian wouldn’t let Caitlyn Jenner visit her estranged husband Lamar Odom in hospital last year.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star stopped her step-father – who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner prior to her gender transition surgery 11 months ago – from seeing the basketball player while he was recovering from a near-fatal drugs and alcohol overdose in October because she was worried it would provoke even more confusion for him.
Speaking on a forthcoming episode of ‘Kocktails with Khloe’, which hits screens today (30.03.16), she said: "When he [Lamar] had his accident and he was in the hospital, Caitlyn was like, ‘I want to come and see Lamar.’ Lamar did not know about Caitlyn at that time. Lamar was in a coma and Lamar was in a hospital for four months and I kept Lamar very sheltered. During that time was when Caitlyn was transitioning, but also, prior to Lamar’s accident, Lamar was not in the best state. I wasn’t there to see him, but I can’t guarantee you he was watching television was my point.
"So, when Caitlyn wanted to come and visit Lamar for the first time was in the hospital, I wanted to respect Caitlyn being Caitlyn, but I also was like…," before trailing off.
The 31-year-old beauty has been by her estranged lover’s side since learning he had fallen unconscious in a brothel in Nevada following a wild booze session but, despite claiming she still loves him, she’s adamant they’re not back together.
Khloe, who split from Lamar in 2013 following four years of marriage, explained: "I love Lamar, as a person. But I haven’t been with Lamar. I haven’t been sexually– I haven’t kissed Lamar in years. But do I love Lamar, and do I always want the best for Lamar? 100 per cent. Because I don’t believe that you marry somebody and you just cut them off."
