Khloé Kardashian pays tribute to Armenia

Khloé Kardashian paid tribute to Armenia.
The ‘Kocktails with Khloé’ host – whose late father Robert Kardashian was one third Armenian – took to social media today (24.04.16) to commemorate the 101 year anniversary since the Armenian genocide, with a photo of her and sister Kim Kardashian West, 35, on their family trip to the country last year.
The 31-year-old TV personality’s Instagram post read: "Last year Kim, Kanye, my cousins, crew and I were able to visit Armenia for the first time and it was a life changing experience. Memories I will keep with me forever! 1.5 million lost souls the blood doesn’t lie.
Today marks the 101 year anniversary of the Armenian genocide. Knowledge is power! If we know better than hopefully we shall do better. Genocides, massacres, human slaughter… are despicable acts!! Educating people as to what happened in history is our duty. It is also our duty to not be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation no matter their race or creed. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. I am proud to be Armenian and I won’t be silenced or made to believe the stories of our ancestors are "exaggerated". I pray that the moral universe ultimately will bend towards justice. Today let’s respect the eternal memory of those who perished in this undeniable act of hate. #NeverForget #1915 #ArmenianPride #EternalFlame (sic.)"
The ‘Strong Looks Better Naked’ author took to Twitter to pay further respect to the nation and other war-torn countries.
She tweeted: "As I tweet about the #ArmenianGenocide, genocides throughout time must also be remembered. #ArmenianGenocide (sic.)"
