Kevin Hart is releasing his autobiography.
The ‘Ride Along’ actor – who has children Heaven and Hendrix with ex-wife Torrei – is penning a memoir called ‘From the Hart’, which will be released through 37 Ink, an imprint of Atria Books, and joked the book will prove he is a "big deal".
He said in a statement: "My kids know I’m a big deal. They’re very aware. I let them know every day, I say, ‘Look, daddy’s a big deal.’
"Now I’ll have a book out to prove it."
The book will track the 36-year-old star’s progression, from a difficult upbringing in Philadelphia with his drug addict father, to his first stand-up comedy shows, to what motivates him now.
Kevin recently admitted he is keen to host the Oscars one day.
The ‘Get Hard’ actor believes he will be asked to front the ceremony – which has been mired in controversy due to the lack of diversity in this year’s nominations – when things are "a lot more positive" and the "time is right".
He admitted: "I think when I do eventually host the Oscars I think that the time will be right.
"I think that the setting will be a lot more positive than what it is today."
