The 29-year-old singer – who hails from Paris, France – was booted out of the competition during Saturday night’s (02.12.17) instalment of the ITV talent show’s weekend-long final.
Speaking to host Dermot O’Leary after it was revealed Rak-Su and Grace Davies would be going into Sunday night’s (03.12.17) final, Kevin said: "It’s [three] my new lucky number! Thank you to the UK for believing in me and putting me on that stage. Thank you to all of you. I love you so much. I can’t wait to show you what I can do."
Whilst his mentor Nicole Scherzinger added: "For me, Dermot he has already won. He has already won the hearts of so many people out there. What a beautiful beautiful platform this is for him. And I can’t wait to get his album!"
Both Rak-Su and Grace, as well as their mentors Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne, were thrilled to have made it to the final two.
Asked how they felt about making it this far, Rak-Su’s Mustafa said: "I’m speechless. I’m so emotional. Thank you so much to everyone that’s voted for us. We never thought we’d make it here, from our first audition up until now."

During the show, Grace performed ‘Live and Let Die’ and duetted with Paloma Faith on her own song ‘Roots’ whilst Kevin performed Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ and teamed up with ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner Tokio Myers on ‘Fastlove Pt. 1’.
