Kendall Rae-Knight has become the first contestant to leave the new series of ‘Love Island’.
The 26-year-old beauty was bitterly disappointed to have been kicked off the show so early into the series, but Kendall has insisted she doesn’t harbour any regrets about her time on the programme.
She shared: "I am a little bit gutted to be the first one out. I won’t lie, it’s not nice being the first one out, but I do feel positive that I did everything I wanted to do, and I stood my ground, and I have no regrets about what I did."
The former Miss Blackpool – who was previously engaged to be married, before her fiance abruptly ended their relationship – was left seething earlier this week when her partner Adam Collard admitted to fancying Rosie Williams.
But Kendall has still admitted to being attracted to the hunky star, describing him as her "type".
Asked who she would have chosen if the girls had been leading the coupling up, Kendall confessed: "I would have chosen Adam, definitely. I think we had the most connection. We were both attracted to each other.
"If I saw him on the outside, of course I would say hello and be polite, he hasn’t done anything wrong other than going with his gut and choosing Rosie.
"He was definitely my type though, had I seen him in a bar on the outside world, he was someone I would have gone for."
Meanwhile, Kendall is backing Dani Dyer – the daughter of ‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer – and Jack Fincham as the duo most likely to find long-term love through the show.
She said: "They seem to have a great connection. They get each other, which is really nice. They did have a glitch early on, but they click."
Kendall will appear on ‘Love Island: Aftersun’ on Sunday, June 10 at 10pm on ITV2.
