Kem Cetinay doesn’t want to get back together with Amber Davies.
The ‘Love Island’ winner was left devastated just before Christmas when he and the brunette beauty decided to call it quits following five months of dating but, although she’s said there’s a chance for a reunion, he’s adamant that he’s happy being single and is focusing on ‘Dancing On Ice’ for now.
He said: "If I’m really honest, I’m happy being single. I feel in a really good place at the moment. My head feels clear. I want to keep concentrating on skating."
But, although he’s not thinking about rekindling their romance right now, the 21-year-old hunk still speaks to Amber regularly but understands that they’ll never speak to the degree they did before.
He explained: "You’re never going to speak as much as before, but I don’t like splitting up and never speaking to that person again.
"I still check up on her and look out for her because she was part of my life. I still care."
And he’s glad the 21-year-old dancer is still supporting his skating venture on the ITV show.
He added to new! magazine: "I told her before the split that she could come and watch me life. I’m glad she’s tuning in. I’m sure she’s laughed at my routines."
Kem set tongues wagging last weekend when Scarlett Moffatt was spotted supporting him in the studio audience but he’s adamant they’re just friends and will never get together romantically.
He said: "Amber knows we’re just friends. Scarlett’s a nice girl and I can take a lot of advice off her because she’s doing so well in the industry. She looks out for me and she’s just a good friend."
