Kellie Bright first appeared in ‘EastEnders’ in 1986.
The 43-year-old star is best known for her role as Linda Carter in the BBC One soap, who she has played since 2013, but it wasn’t her first time on the soap as she appeared as a guest at Michelle Fowler (Susan Tully) and George ‘Lofty’ Holloway’s (Tom Watt) wedding 34 years ago.
She said: "In 86, I was at Lofty and Michelle’s wedding.
"I was an extra – as we called ourselves extras in those days. I was a supporting artist.
"I had to come in late to the church, and my mum had to walk me up the aisle because I wanted to go to the loo or something."
Despite her supporting artist appearance being more than three decades ago, the former ‘Bad Girls’ actress remembers it "very well".
Speaking on ‘EastEnders: Secrets from the Square’, she added: "The only shot of me that you saw was the back of my head, I think.
"You just see my long blonde hair, I was wearing a peach dress. I remember it very well."
Michelle and Lofty’s wedding episode saw her ditch him at the altar, so the pair didn’t get married.
Kellie recently admitted she "felt really emotional" returning to the ‘EastEnders’ set to shoot the spin-off show.
She said: "When I drove back into Elstree I felt really emotional, more than I thought I was going to as since I’d last been there the world is such a changed place.
"And that feeling was quite immense. That place is like my home, so I felt comfortable coming back.
"I think the hardest thing was seeing people that I’m used to seeing every day and not being able to hug them."
