Kellie Bright kept in touch with Danny Dyer via FaceTime amid the coronavirus lockdown.
The 44-year-old actress – who plays Linda Carter, the on-screen wife of Danny’s character Mick in ‘EastEnders’ – has admitted to missing her co-star during the lockdown.
She shared: "I did miss him quite a lot. We kept in touch and had a few FaceTimes."
Kellie – who has kids Freddie, eight, and Gene, three – also revealed Danny inspired her to start playing with Lego during the lockdown.
She told ‘The One Show’: "He showed me his Lego! His first offering was the Hogwarts castle, no messing around.
"It did inspire me to get my own Lego, but I actually did it with my eight-year-old – a joint effort."
Meanwhile, Kellie recently revealed she needed to be convinced by ‘EastEnders’ bosses about shooting one of her most memorable scenes.
The actress admitted she was initially unsure about filming the scene in which Linda served her husband divorce papers amid her battle with alcoholism.
She shared: "When the producers told me Linda was going to serve Mick divorce papers, I was like, ‘Oh no no no’.
"I just didn’t buy it – why would Linda ever serve Mick divorce papers? I didn’t believe it and I wouldn’t have it. Then, of course, the spiral of her alcoholism really took hold, and by the time we got to it, I was like, ‘Oh now I get it’. She had things so twisted in her mind that she thought she was doing the best thing."
