Keeping Up Appearances’ special to get full series?

Keeping Up Appearances’ new one-off special could get a series.
The BBC have reportedly pumped a lot of cash into the forthcoming spin-off show ‘Young Hyacinth’ and, although it’s yet to hit television screens, writer Roy Clarke believes he has enough content to turn it into a full series at some point in the future.
Asked if ‘Young Hyacinth’ was just a one-off, Roy told The Sun newspaper: "Ah. Big question mark. Not in my mind."
Kerry Howard portrays the younger version of Hyacinth Bucket – who was made famous by Patricia Routledge in the 90s – in the reboot.
Speaking of stepping in to Patricia’s shoes as the iconic character – whose high-pitched shrill shook screens from 1990 to 1995 – the 24-year-old star said recently: "It’s a role of a lifetime… The opportunity to have a go at it myself is really exciting. It’s a dream role."
And Kerry – who is the sister of comedian Russell Howard – has even approached Patricia, who is now aged 87, for tips on how to master the demanding role.
Meanwhile, sacked ‘Coronation Street’ star Katie Redford plays Hyacinth’s promiscuous younger sister Rose in the one-off.
And, although bosses aren’t sure whether they will commission it for a full series, producers are reportedly keen to sell the new show around the world.
