Keeley Hawes is hungry for KFC

Keeley Hawes thinks KFC is the food that sums up happiness.
The 42-year-old actress has confessed she has a voracious appetite for the American fried chicken fast food chain, famous for its secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices.
Keeley admits her love of KFC founder Colonel Saunders’ menu is in stark contrast with some of the other eateries she frequents in London which make her other must-have dishes, which include a Reuben sandwich – a giant corn beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut bread encased delight – and breaded veal.
When asked what her favourite foods are, she said: "Wiener Schnitzel and pickled cucumbers at The Wolseley. I’m also a big fan of the Rueben sandwich from Selfridges food hall. And anything from KFC, god help me!"
The ‘Bodyguard’ star admitted that The Wolseley hotel in London, that sells her favourite Schnitzel, is her happy place.
She added: "It’s definitely up there, and the accessory department of Liberty or having a Marie Kondo-style clear out."
Keeley’s new BBC One show ‘Bodyguard’ has been confirmed as the most-watched new drama on any UK TV channel since 2006 with consolidated viewing figures of 10.4 million viewers.
The programme also stars Richard Madden as a war veteran turned police officer assigned to protect Home Secretary Keeley whose politics he opposes.
The BBC also announced that ‘Bodyguard’ also broke records on its iPlayer catch-up service with 2.2 million requests in its first seven days and three million requests to date.
