Katy B wants to judge on this year’s ‘The X Factor’.
The 26-year-old singer believes she’d be a great asset to the panel alongside Simon Cowell on ITV’s annual singing show as she’s got experience dishing out advice following her guest-mentoring gig on ‘The Voice’ two years ago.
In an interview with Evening Standard Online, Katy said: "Maybe earlier on in my career I’d be nervous about being a judge on those shows. When I was a guest judge on Ricky’s (Wilson) team on ‘The Voice’, I was literally sitting there thinking, ‘What am I going to say to these people’ because their voices were like 10 times better than mine.
"But now I’ve got a bit of experience, maybe – we’ll have to wait and see. It would be something interesting to do – I’m always up for a change of scenery."
And the blonde beauty certainly has a chance of nabbing the judging gig on the programme as producers are currently on the desperate hunt for two new panellists following the shock departure of Cheryl and Nick Grimshaw earlier this year.
The former Girls Aloud singer – who first joined the show in 2008 before leaving in 2010 and returning in 2014 for another two years – announced she was leaving the programme last month.
Her shocking news came just a few months after the radio presenter also decided to step down after just one series.
