Katie Price would hate for her children to think she puts her husband first.
The 38-year-old star – who has Harvey, 14, Junior, 11, and Princess, nine, from past relationships, and Jett, three, and Bunny, two, with her husband Kieran Hayler – admits she would find it "hurtful" if any of her children felt they were being pushed out.
She said: "To a degree I think it should all be equal team effort. I wouldn’t say I put him first or the kids first. We’re a family; we all should do things together …
"I think for me it’ll be hurtful if my kids ever thought I put Kieran before them. And I wouldn’t ever say it, even if I’d ever think it. I’d never say it anyway."
And whilst the mother-of-five loves spending family time together, she admits it is important for herself and Kieran to spend time together too.
She added: "I believe that kids should have a routine; you know they should be in bed and then you get your adult time. I believe you should do date nights for each other.
"The only thing that gets in the way of our relationship is my phone, because at night time, I don’t know about any of you women out there, but I’m always on my phone. And he’s like, ‘Are you going to put that phone down and spend some time with me?’ That’s the only thing, but other than that, as long as you’re a team and if you do things properly and as a routine."
Meanwhile, whilst making an appearance on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (09.09.16), Katie also discussed how she would feel about lying for a friend who is having an affair.
She shared: "If your friend was having an affair with someone and they wanted to use you as a cover up, would you lie then? … Your best friend of years?"
When one of the other panellists said it wouldn’t feel right if they were "friends with her partner", Katie replied: "See that’s when it gets tricky. It’s like lying in that way, I couldn’t do."
