Katie Price wants to take part in the ‘Dancing on Ice’ reboot.
The 38-year-old former model has admitted she’d love nothing more than t compete on the risky show, which is set to return to screens this year, now that her best friend Michelle Heaton has reportedly been approached by bosses for the line up.
The blonde beauty retweeted an article from The Sun Online, saying her ‘Liberty X’ friend Michelle had signed up to join the show, with the caption "I would so do this".
However, Katie – who has previously said she’d like to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – will have to make sure she pulls out all the stops if she does manage to bag a slot of the revamped series as Michelle is determined to shoot straight into the final.
Michelle said: "’Dancing On Ice’ would be my ultimate. As a performer you want to do something that you can learn fresh so you build up your CV.
"I’ve never done ice skating and I’ve never professionally been taught dancing.
"It is one of those shows that I would love to tick off my bucket list. It would be really wonderful to learn how to do something like that. Let’s hope I can pull some strings."
‘Dancing On Ice’ was pulled off air three years ago but fans jumped for joy earlier this year when it was confirmed it would be making a comeback in the near future.
Olympian Jayne Torvill – who coaches on the show alongside her partner Christopher Dean – has teased that the show will have a "refreshed" look when it returns.
She said: "I love that it’s coming back, it’s great news – I’m really looking forward to it.
"The show will definitely be refreshed but the basics will be the same, we will still be teaching celebrities how to skate.
"It was a different sort of platform being in the studio – we like to be creative and come up with new things. There’s a new bar to set when the show returns."
