Kate Garraway to star in five West End shows in one night

Kate Garraway is set to star in five West End musicals on the same night.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ host is used to appearing in front of an audience, but she’s set to take on a whole new challenge next week when she tackles five different musicals on the same night to raise money for charity.
Kate is raising awareness for Global’s Make Some Noise campaign, which helps smaller organisations up and down the country with funding, in a bid to help vulnerable children in their hour of need.
The 52-year-old television star will dash around London to various West End venues on October 10, to perform in ‘BIG The Musical’, ‘Waitress’, ‘School of Rock’, ‘Mamma Mia!’, and ‘Magic Mike Live’.
Speaking in a statement, Kate said: "For Global’s Make Some Noise last year, I was fortunate to appear in ‘Mamma Mia!’ and I loved it.
"Singing, acting and dancing don’t come naturally to me – just ask my ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dance partner, Anton du Beke – so to take on five of London’s biggest and best-loved shows in one day is going to be a real challenge.
"Thank you in advance to the West End audiences for putting up with my performances! I’m so proud to be doing this for Global’s Make Some Noise, which provides a true lifeline to thousands of young people across the UK each day.
"I’m also hugely grateful to the cast and crew of these five shows, for their support in raising as much money as possible. It’ll be a real team effort, for children who truly need our help the most."
Kate will start her journey playing a cocktail maker in ‘BIG’ at the Dominion Theatre, before appearing as a parent in the finale of ‘School of Rock’.
She will then head to the Hippodrome for ‘Magic Mike Live’, before joining Joe Sugg and the cast of the romantic musical comedy ‘Waitress’ at the Adelphi Theatre, and then finishing off as a wedding guest in ‘Mamma Mia!’ at the Novello Theatre.
