Karlie Kloss follows ‘moral compass’ when it comes to romance

Karlie Kloss follows her "own moral compass" when it comes to her romance with fiancé Josh Kushner.
The 26-year-old model got engaged to the businessman this summer after six years of dating, and she’s said she likes to keep things to herself when it comes to their relationship, because she’s not interested in what the public thinks.
She said: "At the end of the day, I’ve had to make decisions based on my own moral compass – forget what the public says, forget social media. I’ve chosen to be with the man I love despite the complications."
The blonde beauty also slammed the idea that she feels forced to talk about her romance with Josh instead of her career, because she doesn’t believe she would face the same topics if she was a man.
Speaking to Vogue magazine, she said: "It’s frustrating, to be honest, that the spotlight is always shifted away from my career toward my relationship. I don’t think the same happens in conversations with men."
Meanwhile, it was recently claimed Karlie and Josh would like to get hitched in less than 12 months’ time on the 33-year-old businessman’s farm in New Jersey.
A source said: "They’re planning to get married next spring or summer on his family farm in New Jersey."
And, although Karlie wants the nuptials to be "romantic", she doesn’t want it too flash.
The insider added: "They don’t want it to be stuffy at all. She wants things to be romantic and easy."
Joshua proposed to the Kode with Klossy founder last month during a romantic getaway to New York, and the pair are "overjoyed" with the news.
An insider said at the time: "He proposed a few weeks ago during a romantic weekend together in upstate New York. They’re both overjoyed and happily celebrating. Their hearts are full and they’re excited to build their future together."
Karlie then confirmed the news on her Instagram account a few weeks later.
She said: "I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over (sic)"
