Kanye West is the ‘best he’s ever been’

Kanye West is the "best he’s ever been" at the moment.
The outspoken rap star has consciously withdrawn himself from the spotlight since cancelling the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo tour in 2016 due to stress and exhaustion, and Kanye is said to currently be in a great frame of mind.
A source close to the award-winning musician explained: "Kanye is in a good place right now. He’s working on his music and laying low.
"He’s gained a little weight. He’s not going to the gym as much as he could be but that’s OK. He’s been focused on staying calm and not doing anything to mess his mindset up. He’s in the zone."
Kanye, 40, has 22-month-old son Saint and four-year-old daughter North with his wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian West.
And despite the duo suffering a turbulent 2016 – which saw Kim robbed at gunpoint in Paris – their relationship is now said to be stronger than it’s ever been.
The insider told Us Weekly: "He’s the best he’s ever been – he’s very stable. There haven’t been any manic outbursts. You’re going to see a calm Kanye who is taking it day by day.
"Living with a mental illness is something that he will always have to be aware of, and spend time working on, but he’s doing it. And he and Kim are stronger than ever."
When the ‘Famous’ hitmaker cancelled the remaining dates of his tour in November 2016, a source explained that spending so much time away from his young family had taken its toll on the rapper.
The insider shared: "They are the most important to him.
"Obviously he’s a professional and wants to give his fans a great experience and I think his gut was telling him not to extend the tour throughout the end of the year, but he decided to push through."
