Justin Timberlake would consider hosting the Oscars.
The 36-year-old singer, who is nominated for Best Original Song for his hit ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ at this year’s ceremony, says he would definitely consider an offer to present the prestigious event, but isn’t sure he has what it takes.
Asked if he would ever follow in the footsteps of former hosts such as Seth MacFarlane and Ellen DeGeneres and this year’s host Jimmy Kimmel, he told Variety and AARP’s Movies for Grownups during a Q&A: "Yeah, I guess. I don’t know! I feel like I wouldn’t know what to do after the first hour.
"It’s a long ceremony. I’m excited to see Mr. Kimmel do his thing this year, I think it’s going to be great!"
Justin and wife Jessica Biel are both looking forward to attending the event on February 26, and she couldn’t be prouder of him for scoring his first nomination.
Speaking on ‘The Tonight Show,’ the 34-year-old actress said: "Can you believe it? That’s so amazing. I really just think he deserves it. It’s such a good song. It’s a song that obviously makes everyone so happy and it’s so worldwide. He deserves it. I hope he wins."
