Justin Timberlake joins cast of Woody Allen’s new film

Justin Timberlake has joined the cast of Woody Allen’s new movie.
The 35-year-old singer, songwriter and actor will star alongside Kate Winslet and Jim Belushi in the film written and directed by the legendary comic.
Juno Temple has also been announced as having a role that, as is usual for Allen, is being kept strictly under wraps.
It has been reported that the film is set in New York in the 1950s and Woody, 80, will produce the film alongside Letty Aronson, Erika Aronson and Edward Walson.
The film will be Woody’s 48th feature movie, and is set to start filming in the autumn.
Having built a successful pop career, Justin has managed to run a parallel career in film and has gained a great reputation for his performances in movies like ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’.
Juno, 26, has also been steadily building a career for herself with highly praised performances in films like ‘Maleficent’, ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’ and ‘Black Mass’.
Woody’s ‘Cafe Society’, which opened the Cannes Film Festival, will be released by Lionsgate and Amazon in the US on July 15. The romantic drama stars Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Steve Carell, Parker Posey, Corey Stoll, Jeannie Berlin and Ken Stott.
