Justin Bieber ordered to attend Miami deposition

Justin Bieber has been ordered to travel to Miami for a deposition within the next 30 days.
The 22-year-old singer’s bodyguard is accused of chasing Florida photographer, Manuel Munoz, down a busy tourist street in Miami and injuring him after he took a picture of the young star leaving a nightclub in January 2014 and Justin has been ordered to testify by the judge.
TMZ reports that Munoz’s lawyer wants to question Justin about his previous altercations with photographers and fans.
The deposition is expected to be taped.
If Justin does not agree to voluntarily travel to Miami for the deposition, the judge will "issue a writ of bodily attachment", meaning that deputies will be sent to collect him.
Getting to Miami within the next month is set to present a problem for Justin, who is on the European leg of his ‘Purpose’ world tour until the end of November.
The photographer is seeking unspecified punitive and compensatory damages.
Meanwhile, in March this year, Justin settled his own lawsuit with a member of the paparazzi.
The ‘What Do You Mean’ hitmaker was accused of kicking and punching photographer Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran in 2012 whilst outside a shopping centre in Southern California with his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Duran claims the star was leaving the shopping mall in Calabasas, California when he attacked the photographer, kicking him in the stomach and punching him in the face.
In 2013, he sued the singer, claiming he was left with severe emotional distress as a result of the incident.
But the case was settled earlier this year and the trial called off.
