Julianne Hough is a "terrible" wedding planner.
The 27-year-old dancer-and-actress got engaged to Brooks Laich in August 2015 after two years together, but the couple haven’t yet organised many of the details for their big day as they are just "chilling" and enjoying being engaged.
Speaking to reporters at the ‘Grease: Live’ event in Los Angeles, she said: "We started [wedding planning] and were like, ‘You know what? Let’s just chill and enjoy the engagement process and the fun of it.’
"So we haven’t really got into it really. We’re kind of terrible."
But the ‘Save Haven’ star and the 32-year-old Washington Capitals hockey player are not planning anything too elaborate as they just want a small ceremony.
She added: "It’s mainly just friends and family. We’re keeping it pretty small and intimate."
Though the couple initially planned to wed this summer, they have now delayed their plans and not yet set a new date.
Julianne joked: "We might get married in 10 years. Who knows?"
Instead of tying the knot, the pair will simply spend the summer "hanging out".
She added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "We finally get to actually be in the same city, so that’s nice.
"So we’re just chilling at the house, cooking dinner, hanging out by the pool and relaxing."
The former ‘Dancing With the Stars’ judge recently admitted she won’t teach Brooks to dance before their wedding, and suggested he ask her dancer brother Derek Hough instead.
She said: "Oh my goodness, he wants more than anything to dance. He’s always wanted to dance before he ever met me, so he’s always asking me to teach him and I’m like, ‘Ask Derek!’ I’m just pawning my brother off to him. So I think Derek and Brooks might have a first dance. That would be interesting, and a sight to see for sure."
