Julia Goulding engaged

Julia Goulding is engaged to her boyfriend.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who plays David Platt’s (Jack P. Shepherd) girlfriend Shona Ramsey on the ITV soap – has managed to keep her exciting news a secret since March last year, when her teaching assistant beau Ben, 30, popped the question.
An insider told The Sun Online: "Julia and Ben are incredibly close – he even relocated to Manchester from London for her, so it’s no surprise he proposed to her.
"Julia is quite a private person but everyone is so happy they are planning to tie the knot."
When Julia isn’t strutting her stuff on the cobbles as Roy’s Rolls employee Shona, she loves to sit back, relax and take in some TV with Ben.
She previously said: "We love to cook a roast. Well, when I say we, I mean Ben cooks a roast while I have a glass of red wine and decide what to watch on the telly."
Julia attending another wedding on New Year’s Eve (31.12.18) when she went to her co-star Tina O’Brien’s nuptials.
The ‘Corrie’ actress – who plays Sarah Platt – married her significant other Adam Crofts in front of her family and friends, including several other cobbles co-stars such as Jack, Lucy Fallon (Bethany Platt), Mikey North (Gary Windass) and Alison King (Carla Connor).
While Julia loves to settle down in front of the TV next to Ben with a nice meal, she doesn’t enjoy the fake food at Roy’s Rolls – recently admitting it puts her off eating.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It really doesn’t make me hungry. The food the supporting artists eat and the actors eat is obviously real but everything else … you’d probably die if you tried to eat something from Roy’s."
While she doesn’t leave Roy’s eager to eat, Julia enjoys spending time with ‘Corrie’ legend David Neilson, who plays cafe owner Roy Cropper, admitting he puts on a "masterclass" with every performance.
She added: "It’s blissful working with David. He is absolutely brilliant. It’s like learning from the master. It’s a masterclass every time you watch him work. He’s fantastic – I love him."
