Judge Rinder’s grandfather dies from coronavirus

Judge Rinder has revealed his grandfather has died of coronavirus.
The 41-year-old barrister – whose real name is Robert Rinder – paid a heartwarming tribute to his late grandfather, who passed away aged 92 after contracting the respiratory disease.
Appearing on Friday’s episode (03.04.20) of ‘This Morning’, he said: "I love him very much. It’s been a challenging time, but I remember him in that positive way.
"We can choose to drown ourselves in the negativity and horror or choose to galvanise each other."
A number of fans took to social media to send their condolences to the television star with one writing on Twitter: "Judge Rinder, sorry to hear yr sad news about yr Grandfather My condolences to you& your family& may I wish you Long Life xx#ThisMorning (sic)."
Another fan shared: "Judge rinder aw sorry for your loss. Coronavirus is serious guys you need to stay at home. It’s taking lots of people everyday #Thismorning (sic)."
A third took to his Instagram page to comment: "God bless you….. we just heard your heartfelt message just on This Morning about your grandad. You are in our prayers and thoughts."
The devastating news comes shortly after Rinder appeared on the ITV daytime show to reveal he thinks he had contracted the virus himself, but he was feeling "well" again after 20 days in isolation.
He admitted last week: "I’m just through the other side of it. It’s [been] 20 days and I feel well now."
Rob said he suffered from a "terrible temperature" and an "appalling cough", and joked he "must have been really ill" because he resorted to watching the Kardashians on TV.
When asked what his symptoms were, he said: "Terrible temperature, appalling cough, and lying with my feet on the ground and my head on the bed in a coma watching the Kardashians, so I must have been really ill."
