Judge Rinder has split from his husband Seth Cummings.
The criminal barrister – whose real name is Robert Rinder – and political advisor have been together for more than 11 years, but they have reportedly decided to go their separate ways in an "amicable" split.
A source close to the TV judge said: "It’s very sad news but Rob is separating from his partner of 11-and-a-half-years.
"He’s very upset about the situation, but the split is amicable and no one else is involved."
Robert, 39, is yet to confirm his split from Seth – who he married in a civil ceremony in Ibiza in 2013 – and is said to be keen to "focus" on his TV work.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Rob has never spoken about his relationship and nothing will change on that front.
"He very much wants to focus on his work, including ‘Judge Rinder’ on ITV which he absolutely adores."
The TV judge is good pals with Benedict Cumberbatch, who officiated the pair’s civil partnership on the Spanish island.
Robert returned the favour to Benedict – who he has been pals with since they studied together at Manchester University – by acting as best man at his wedding to Sophie Hunter on the Isle of White on Valentine’s Day 2015.
A source said at the time: "Benedict had three best men, but only one was famous – and that was Judge Rinder.
"There was speculation that he chose another actor, but he wanted genuine old friends in the role."
Robert has previously said he’s hugely appreciative of the support he’s received from his long-time friend.
He said: "He’s an old friend from Manchester University. He’s always been hugely supportive."
Ahead of officiating his friend’s wedding, ‘Sherlock’ star Benedict admitted it was a "lovely thing to be asked to do" and joked it could be the start of a new career for him.
He quipped: "Of course, I’m going to make a joke after it, ‘I do weddings. Next will be children’s parties and bat mitzvahs.’
"It’s a mainly Jewish and gay audience, so hopefully they will be lenient towards me."
