Josie Gibson is set to take part in the forthcoming series of ‘The Jump’.
The former reality star – who won ‘Big Brother’ in 2010 – has become the latest celebrity to agree to slip into her thermals and hit the Austrian slopes for the winter sports show.
Taking to her Twitter account over the weekend, the 31-year-old star said: "I’ve never skied before but I love a challenge!! Please don’t tell me to break a leg ha!"
And, although she doesn’t have much experience on snow, the blonde beauty – who has recently lost lots of weight – is quietly confident that she’ll be an "underdog."
She said: "It’s a journey I can tell you that ha," before using the hashtag "underdog."
However, it seems Josie may need a little more help from the experts if she’s going to plough through to the final as she’s ended up on her bottom during training on the slopes.
Taking to her Instagram account, Josie uploaded a photograph of her laying on her back with her ski poles in the air alongside the caption: "Yep I’m really doing it!! (sic)".
And Josie will certainly have some stiff competition as she’s up against thrill-seekers Lydia Bright and 31-year-old model Vogue Williams in the forthcoming series.
The 26-year-old beauty previously uploaded a photograph of herself and Vogue in their thermals as they prepared to take to the dry slope.
She wrote: "Here we go, early morning starts. First day of training. Let’s do this boo @voguewilliams @channel4 #TheJump 2017 I love skiing & have defos become an adrenaline junkie as Ive got older Bring on the challenge (sic)."
However, there is some intense pressure this time around as the last series – which hit screens last January – saw gymnast Beth Tweddle break her back, ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Mark-Francis Vandelli fracture his ankle and Rebecca Adlington dislocate her shoulder.
The spike in injuries meant bosses were forced to revisit the risky format and discuss whether it was worth bringing it back for another series at the beginning of next year.
However, after bosses managed to persuade a good amount of stars to take part in the forthcoming series, producers were given the go-ahead to do another installment.
