Jordan Banjo has become a father for the first time.
The 25-year-old dancer has shared a picture of himself carrying his newborn son, Cassius, who was born on Monday (07.05.18), and has praised his girlfriend Naomi Ella for being a "super woman", insisting he is the "luckiest man" around.
He wrote on Instagram: "Myself and @naomiella21 haven’t shared this straight away because we wanted to take some time to appreciate and enjoy the beautiful moment that we had as a family…but on the 07.05.2018 at 12:29am our beautiful son was born! Words cannot describe the feeling of seeing your future come into this world. I’m so proud of mum & baby, both are doing absolutely amazing and @naomiella21 you are a super woman. If I didn’t know it before, I do now, I am the luckiest man there is. Welcome to the world Cassius Ashley Banjo (sic)"
Naomi – who has been dating the Diversity star for two years – also took to the photo-sharing site to post a picture of her significant other clutching Cassius against his chest.
She added the caption: "07.05.2018 – Cassius Ashley Banjo (sic)"
Jordan admitted in January he couldn’t wait to become a father.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I’m super excited to become a dad. When I first found out, it was a huge shock but now everyone knows and it’s out there, it’s great.
"I have all the boys around me and my brothers, I’m just buzzing for it."
The couple announced Naomi was expecting a baby boy in January, and she admitted it was a shock when she found out she was pregnant.
She said: "We weren’t trying so I was sure it was going to be negative. I wanted to be sure so I went out and bought eight more tests. I sat with them all laid out in front of me on the bathroom floor, staring at them in disbelief. We always said we wanted kids together, we just didn’t think it would happen this soon. We’re over the moon, though.
"I started crying when they said it was a boy because I was completely convinced we were having a girl. I was delighted it was a boy but I felt very overwhelmed, as I’d mentally prepared myself for it to be a daughter."
