John Logan is "excited" about ‘Bond 24’.
The screenwriter claims he is "almost done" penning the script for the Sam Mendes-directed film and reassures the next instalment in the James Bond franchise won’t disappoint.
Logan told Empire Magazine: "Right now the first draft is almost done I’m terrifically excited about it! I’ve been working very closely with Sam, and it’s been joyous to pick up from our work on Skyfall and just continue on with the storytelling.
The new movie continues the themes of Skyfall. Some of the characters and themes that we began to introduce in Skyfall will play out, I hope successfully, in the next movie."
He added: "You ain’t seen nothing yet."
Logan’s comments come after Daniel Craig, signed up to star as the 007 secret service agent on two more films, but the 52-year-old screenwriter remained tight-lipped as to whether those films will involve a part one and part two.
He said: "I’m just trying to get one done first! If I survive this one, we’ll see about the next one! [But I] couldn’t comment!"
‘Bond 24’ is released in the UK on October 23, 2015, and in the US on November 6, 2015.
