John Lewis star is from Tina O’Brien’s casting agency

The lad who plays a young Sir Elton John in the John Lewis Christmas advert is from Tina O’Brien’s casting agency.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who plays Sarah Platt on the ITV soap – admitted she is feeling really "proud" after her The Drama MOB client, four-year-old Freddie Henderson, landed the role in the ad, ‘The Boy and the Piano’, which was released today (15.11.18).
She wrote on Twitter: "Proudest day ever. Freddie our little actor superstar @thedramamob @jlandpartners"
Freddie beat off competition from thousands of other young lads for the part, and the Manchester drama school are "thrilled" to have helped him along the way.
A message on The Drama Mob’s official Facebook page read: "A HUGE congratulations to our very own Freddie Henderson who stars in this years John Lewis advert, Freddie was up against thousands of other boys across the country for this role and we are unbelievably proud that our small, Manchester drama school and agency have been able to provide Freddie with the experience to star in the advert of the year!
Freddie joined our classes in Oct 2017 and we are thrilled for Freddie and his family. We will update you with the youtube link later today and will also share the moment Freddie and his family watch the advert on TV this evening! (sic)"
