John Legend is "learning everyday" as a father.
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, welcomed daughter Luna into the world in April earlier this year and admits fatherhood has given him a new focus and a new set of priorities.
He said: "I’m a brand new father and I’m learning everyday, I think it focusses you, it makes you prioritise what’s important. It also makes you think about what kind of world your daughter is going to live in, and how you can make that world better."
The 37-year-old singer has signed up as an ambassador to the Belvedere(RED) campaign, which raises money for the Global Fund to help fight the terrible spread of HIV and AIDS in Africa.
He added: "I would love for Luna to grow up in a world where no-one has to die from AIDS. I think that would be a beautiful thing and I think the RED campaign has helped us make progress so we can get to the point where no-one has to die from that disease."
The father-of-one has teamed up with South African artist Esther Mahlangu to create a unique design for the limited edition bottles of Belvedere vodka.
For every limited edition bottle Belvedere sell, 50% of the profits will be donated to the Global Fund to raise money to help combat HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Of his work with Esther, he shared: "Esther is a South African woman who is well known in her community for the work she does. It was great collaborating with her … we come from really different place, art brought us together, wanting to give brought us together."
The limited edition bottle of (Belvedere)RED is available from September at major Sainsbury’s stores and www.belvedere.co.uk. For every bottle you give (or keep), Belvedere donates 50% of the profits to the Global Fund, the leading financier supporting HIV/AIDs in Africa.
