John Barrowman wants to be the first gender fluid winner of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The former ‘Torchwood’ star is hoping to taste success on the show, and if he manages to win the series he would love be named the King or Queen of the Jungle when he is handed the title.
He said: "I would be over the moon if I won. I would be the King or Queen of the Jungle. I want both crowns."
While John – who is married to husband Scott Gill – admits he wouldn’t have any issues chowing down on "bums, balls and willies" as part of a Bushtucker Trial, he would have "a problem" if he had to lie in a coffin on one of the challenges.
He added: "Eating bums, balls and willies I’m totally cool with.
"I will do my damndest in challenges so that we’re not, any of us, hangry.
"If they put me in a box like a coffin, I know I am going to have a problem.
"I will have to really figure that one out when it happens as I know filming ‘Torchwood’, there was a scene where we filmed in a coffin.
"They put me in a coffin in a drawer and I couldn’t do it. It was see through and so I could see space but I couldn’t do it. I had a panic.
"That might be the challenge that is most fearful for me. But realistically, you know they are not going to do anything that hurts you."
John also believes some campmates may struggle to live with him, but he is expecting people to "gravitate" towards him.
He said: "I think some people may have a problem with me … I don’t really care what you think about me.
"I have never isolated myself before. If I see a commercial and it’s sad, I will cry but I am pretty strong and I tend to be a person who people gravitate to."
John will take part in the show alongside football manager Harry Redknapp, former ‘EastEnders’ star Rita Simons, ex-‘X Factor’ wannabe Fleur East, The Vamps star James McVey, ‘Coronation Street’ actress Sair Khan, TV presenter Nick Knowles, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, ‘Inbetweeners’ actress Emily Atack, and ‘The Chase’ quiz queen Anne Hegerty.
The new ‘I’m A Celebrity’ series kicks off at 9pm on Sunday (18.11.18) on ITV.
