Joe Swash’s Dancing on Ice partner pulls out of Sunday’s show

Joe Swash’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ partner Alexandra Schauman has been forced to pull out of Sunday’s (26.01.20) show following a "freak fall".
The pro skater is "absolutely heartbroken" about missing the performance, which has come about after she picked up an injury following the tumble, and she has "missed skating with him terribly" all week.
She wrote on Instagram: "I’m absolutely heartbroken to have to announce that I’m not able to perform with @realjoeswashy this Sunday due to a injury that I endured after a freak fall.
"I have missed skating with him terribly this week, he always puts such a big smile on my face. (sic)"
Alex Murphy, who was partnered up with Brian McFadden on last year’s show, will step in for Alexandra this weekend.
Alexandra added: "I wish him and @almurph18 who is stepping in all the best this upcoming Sunday, I will be there rooting for you and cheering you and everyone else on.
"I also want to give a huge shoutout to the whole DOI family and team who have given me so much love and support this week. (sic)"
It comes just days after Caprice and her pro skating partner Hamish Gaman "parted ways" last week, meaning she didn’t compete on last weekend’s show.
But she has since broken her silence to reassure fans she still "loves skating" and "cannot wait" to get back on the ice this weekend.
In response to a tweet from Blue singer Duncan James, who said she is "one of the loveliest people" he knows and he can’t wait to see her skate this weekend, she replied: "Love u babes thank u … I can’t wait 2 skate as well #loveskating xxxxx (sic)"
The 48-year-old model also praised her new skating partner Oscar Peter as "amazing", but has remained silent when asked what happened with Hamish.
When quizzed by a fan about who her new partner is, she replied: "Oscar Peters he is amazing (sic)"
The same supporter also asked if she is coming back to the ice, and questioned what happened with Hamish.
Caprice simply wrote: "Yes I am … so excited xxx (sic)"
