Jodie Marsh’s pet dog Rosie is home again after being hospitalised with a serious illness.
The 39-year-old star’s Rottweiler – who spent several days receiving treatment at the vet’s in June due to poisoning – fell ill this week with ileus, which caused her intestines to fail.
Jodie had feared the worst when Rosie needed the emergency vet’s treatment but luckily her mutt mate has been discharged and is recuperating at home and getting lots of "belly rubs and ear strokes" to make her feel better.
In a series of Twitter posts, she revealed: "Rosie is home!!!!! (Again). I’m not allowing myself to get too excited as I’ve been here before but she will be resting & hopefully recovering at home now! I’m sooooooo happy to have her back with me & the other dogs.
"Rosie has been sleeping a lot since she got home. She’s a tired girl. I’ve been giving her lots of belly rubs and ear strokes. She’s very happy and relaxed. I’m exhausted myself. It’s been a stressful week. Early night is called for me thinks x (sic)"
Just as Jodie is delighted to have her pooch pal at home the former glamour model’s other Rottweiler Ralph is also thrilled to be reunited with Rosie and has been "licking her face" non-stop.
She revealed in another tweet: "Ralph is sooooooo pleased to have Rosie home. He keeps licking her face! Love them so much … They love each other. (sic)"
Thanking her 586,000 followers for their support during this tough week, Jodie added: "And I just want to say a massive thank you again to everyone for all your support & kindness during this. It means so much to me! You have shown me & Rosie so much love! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sic)"
