Joanna Krupa strips off outside parliament for ban on wild-animal circuses

Joanna Krupa stripped off and posed as a tiger outside Westminster in London on Monday (11.09.17) in an desperate attempt to get a ban on the use of wild animals in circuses across the UK.
The supermodel is only in the UK capital for a flying visit, but she made sure she used her time wisely as she dressed in nothing but a pair of killer heels and orange and black striped body paint and paraded around outside parliament in blustery conditions in a bid to put more pressure on the government to introduce the long-overdue bill.
She said: "I’ve always loved and respected the importance the UK places on protecting animals – which is why I was so surprised to learn that wild-animal circuses are still allowed to tour in England and Wales. No animal should be forced to perform tricks for entertainment, and it’s time the British government put an end to this cruelty."
David Cameron – who stepped down as Prime Minister earlier this year – had promised to put a stop to wild animals, such as tigers, elephants and bears, being used in travelling circuses by January 2015 but failed to do so.
But now the 38-year-old star is hoping her brave act will encourage Theresa May – who took over from Mr. Cameron shortly after the UK opted to leave the EU – to push through with the bill as she’s sickened that wild animals in circuses spend their lives confined to cages or trailers when they’re not being bullied into performing tricks.
Not only are they subjected to cruel conditions but the animals commonly endure abuse, are denied the opportunity to engage in natural behaviour and often suffer with chronic health problems – resulting in a premature death, according to PETA.
Joanna isn’t the only celebrity to joins forces with the animal rights organisation as Michael Sheen, Martin Freeman and Pamela Anderson have also used their publicity to raise awareness of the plight of animals in circuses.
