JLS reunite in studio

Marvin Humes and his former JLS bandmates reunited for an impromptu studio session last month.
The four guys – Marvin, JB Gill, Aston Merrygold and Oritsé Williams – got together to celebrate Marvin’s 31st birthday and had a big night out at London nightclub Tape.
After a few drinks, the boys – who went their separate ways in December 2013 – ended up in the club’s in-house studio and jammed on a few songs.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "We all met up and went out in London for my birthday a few weeks ago. We went to this club called Tape in west London and another friend of ours Dallas Austin, this R&B producer, has a studio inside and we ended up in the studio together again. It was weird being back in there together after so long."
Marvin insists the sessions don’t mean that JLS are reforming but he admits being back with the guys got him thinking about what could happen in the future.
He said: "I don’t know what will happen in the future as we are all focused on our individual projects but never say never."
Now he’s finished with his co-hosting duties on TV talent show ‘The Voice’, Marvin is now fully focused on his dance project LuvBug, and he is thrilled his hard work has paid off with their new track ‘Best Is Yet To Come’.
Marvin – who is married to The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes – said: "When I started it was anonymous for 18 months, it was definitely intentional as people might have had a misconception about what my next musical move will be, so I thought for the first 18 months post-band I’ll work on a project and it will be faceless. It kind of worked as people just appreciated the music and remixes for exactly what it was, for the music, and once I announced it was my project people were pleasantly surprised.
"It lets people form their opinions on the music rather than judge me as someone who has been in a boy band before."
