Jillionaire would like to collaborate with WSTRN in the future.
The 38-year-old music producer and one-third of Major Lazer is keen to work with the ‘In2’ hitmakers in the future despite never meeting the group before.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the musician – who is in the group with Diplo and Walshey Fire – said of the trio of Akelle Charles, Haile and Louis Rei: "I’m down for whoever wants to do stuff … I don’t know who WSTRN is but WSTRN if you’re watching, let’s be friends."
In response to the ‘Light It Up’ hitmakers request, a flattered WSTRN -who are big fans of Major Lazer – said: "Yes we’re always open, let’s get a date in."
In the meantime, Jillionaire can look forward to debuting new material when Major Lazer perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois in July.
He said: "I’ve been working on some new music myself and we’ve been recording some new music as a group so yeah by September I’m sure there’ll be some new jams for you to dance around to."
