Jessica Wright: Celebrity First Dates was the most nerve-wracking thing I’ve ever done

Jessica Wright felt ‘Celebrity First Dates’ was the "most nerve-wracking thing".
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star – who quit the ITVBe series after five years on the hit show – has admitted her appearance on the dating programme was her "worst nightmare" because she "hates" going on romantic dates, and thinks blind dates are even worse.
Speaking to OK! Online about the experience on the Channel 4 show, the brunette beauty said: "It was probably the most nerve-wracking thing I’ve ever done.
"I hate dates anyway but a blind date and on television – it’s like my worst nightmare!"
However, the 30-year-old, who has been romantically linked to former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ hunk James Hill, has revealed she has never indulged in a sneaky smooch with the former ‘The Apprentice’ contestant.
Speaking about her blossoming romance with the 29-year-old entrepreneur, she said: "I haven’t snogged him, I haven’t even kissed him on the lips!"
Meanwhile, the television personality insists her younger brother Mark Wright, 29, who is married to former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Michelle Keegan – who are allegedly experiencing a difficult patch in their marriage – has defended the couple, and insists the pair are actually "so in love" and are the ideal match for one another.
Speaking about speculation Mark and Michelle are going through a difficult patch, Jess said: "It’s awful for them but they have to rise above it and they do.
"I feel like constantly having to defend their relationship, even though they don’t because they don’t give a s**t! But they feel like they might have to reassure everyone.
"They’re perfect together, they’re so in love and they’re so happy."
