Jessica Simpson thinks "making out" is the key to a successful marriage.
The 35-year-old star – who has children Maxwell, three, and Ace two, with husband Eric Johnson – believes many couples forget about the "intimate" nature of a passionate kiss and they often fall by the wayside as a relationship progresses.
She said: "I think the secret to a beautiful, loving marriage is just making out!
"Don’t forget to kiss. It’s more intimate sometimes for a lot of people and if you forget that, you forget why you fell in love in the first place. It always begins with a kiss."
The ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star may have a multimillion-dollar fortune, but she still enjoys playing the lottery thanks to a tradition she established when she was younger, which convinced her she is "lucky".
She told People magazine: "Growing up, some of my best memories are road trips.
"Somehow I always got lucky on the way to my nanny’s house and I would get a lotto ticket and I would win. Even if it’s a dollar, I still would always win!
"Now when we go on road trips I’m always like, ‘Hey, Eric. We have to buy a lotto ticket! I bet we’ll win!’"
