Jess Fox unsure of Hollyoaks flash forward death

Jess Fox has no idea which ‘Hollyoaks’ character’s death was confirmed in the soap’s flash forward twist.
The special episode, which zoomed 12 months into the future to show a snippet of the village on New Year’s Eve 2020, featured John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) looking at a body bag, but Jess (Nancy Osborne) insists she is in the dark about the identity of the unfortunate character.
She said: "People went nuts for that episode. Everyone wants to know who’s in that body bag.
"But even I don’t know who it is. It really could be anyone."
Some fans have speculated that Nancy could be set to meet her maker on New Year’s Eve, but Jess is unsure.
She added to Inside Soap magazine: "People were contacting me on Twitter saying, ‘I think it’s Nancy because John Paul’s crying.’ "
What’s more, others have predicted ‘Oaks’ newcomer Callum Kerr may not be on the soap for more than a year, with some suggesting his alter-ego George Kiss could be the character in the body bag.
But Callum is hoping they are wrong.
He told Digital Spy: "I’d love to have a long, healthy stint on the show.
"But George is in a very dangerous line of work during a very dangerous time. I’ll have to keep my fingers crossed – I pray that it’s not me in the bag, but I don’t know that myself yet. I’ve not read the stories that far in advance."
One thing fans know for sure is that Nancy is to be stabbed this year.
The Channel 4 soap unveiled a 2020 trailer earlier this year jam packed full of teasers, including a dramatic incident which will see teacher Nancy struck in the school playground as she tries to stop a fight between Sid Sumner (Billy Price), Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana) and another teenager.
Sid is to be heavily involved in one of the soap’s biggest storylines of the year when his cousin Jordan Price (Connor Calland) plans to recruit him and Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) in a huge County Lines plot.
Jordan will groom Sid, Juliet, Charlie (Charlie Behan), and Ella (Erin Palmer) to carry out criminal activity throughout the year.
