Jeremy McConnell has been given the "seal of approval" by Stephanie Davis’ parents.
The Irish model only lost his place in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house last week but has already introduced himself to the axed ‘Hollyoaks’ actress’ mother and father in a bid to win them over following their controversial fling.
Speaking to The Mirror newspaper, Stephanie’s dad Roy Davis said: "I met Jeremy over the weekend and he seemed very sincere. We will need to let Stephanie tell us what happens next on that front, but from the first meeting, he has our seal of approval and was incredibly charming."
Stephanie, 22 and Jeremy, 25, hit the headlines last month after they embarked on a steamy affair, while the brunette beauty’s heartbroken boyfriend Sam Reece, whom she has been dating for over a year, was forced to watch their romance flourish on national television.
Meanwhile, although the pair’s lip-locking sessions and cheeky bedroom antics sparked uproar, it seems their romance has impressed TV bosses as the couple are reportedly being lined up for their own spin-off show.
But, whatever happens, Roy thinks Stephanie will eventually leave the house a new-found "woman".
He explained: "For Stephanie to have come this far is incredible, as a family, we are really pleased for her… (she’s) has had a tough time in the house but we feel the whole process has been a learning curve for her.
"To say she went in there a girl and will leave a woman is totally accurate."
