Jeremy McConnell’s father has been laid to rest.
The 27-year-old reality TV star was seen arriving at the church with his girlfriend Stephanie Davis, with whom he recently reconciled, in Dublin, Ireland, on Tuesday (07.03.17) as he geared up to say goodbye to his dad for the final time.
The heavily-inked hunk didn’t appear to be too sad as he flashed fans a huge smile before he picked up the coffin and carried into the place of worship.
It’s not yet known whether Jeremy performed a eulogy for his beloved dad during the ceremony or what songs were chosen to play before, during and after the funeral.
A representative for Jeremy said last week: "On Friday 3rd March 2017 Jeremy McConnell ‘s father passed away after a short battle with cancer. We ask that Jeremy is given space and privacy at this incredibly sad time."
This isn’t the first time the ‘Beauty School Cop Outs’ hunk has been forced to say goodbye to his loved ones as he was left devastated as a teenager when his mother, brother and sister all passed away within 15 months of each other.
He said last year: "When I was 15 I was at my cousin’s and my mum fell asleep.
"I got back about two hours later and she was gone – she had a brain haemorrhage.
"Shortly after that my brother broke his neck in a motorbike accident.
"After that, my sister had a heart attack – she suffered with epilepsy. All in the space of 15 months. Of course I miss them, I loved them dearly, but I think that’s what levelled me out a bit – I express myself the way I want to. I just grew up really fast."
Meanwhile, the passing of his dad comes just seven weeks after his son Caben-Albi, whom he has with the 23-year-old actress, was born into the world.
Jeremy was initially in denial that the little one was his – seeing as him and Stephanie had broken up following a series of blazing rows last May – but has since relocated to Liverpool, where the brunette beauty resides, after a paternity was undertaken.
