Jeremy McConnell has reportedly been "confirmed" for ‘Ex on the Beach’.
The 27-year-old hunk – who has just found out he’s a father – has been snapped up for the new series of the reality TV show, which sees stars reunited with their previous lovers, as bosses are convinced he’ll provide endless entertainment.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "MTV bosses have wanted Jez on the show for years but finally they’ve signed him up. He’s the ultimate lad, and producers know it’s a dead cert that he’ll charm the ladies, have a good craic with the boys and be a hit with viewers. Everyone knows he’s a bit of a ladies’ man but it’ll be astounding to see just how many exes come out of the sea for him."
However, the Irish heartthrob may run into a little trouble as not only will his former flames come crawling out of the woodwork, he may also come face to face with his arch enemy Sam Reece as he’s also signed up for the show.
The pair became rivals after Jeremy snatched Sam’s now-ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis from him last year after they fell in love in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
And viewers may be in for a treat as it’s believed bosses are hoping to sign Stephanie up too, so that she emerges from the famous waters for Sam.
The insider explained: "The one ex everyone will want to see is Steph – but she could be coming out for Sam Reece who’s in talks for the show. Even if she doesn’t emerge from the waves, just the possibility of Jeremy and Sam living under the same roof in the show’s luxury villa is going to be enough reason to tune in. This is going to be the best series yet."
Meanwhile, Jeremy and Stephanie – who broke up last spring following a series of blazing rows – have just patched up their differences and seem to be heading towards a rekindle of love after the heavily-inked heartthrob recently found out that he is the father of Stephanie’s six-week-old son Caben-Albi.
