Jeremy Kyle Show guest died after failing lie detector test

The ‘Jeremy Kyle Show’ guest Steve Dymond died a week after failing a lie detector test on the show.
Filming and broadcasting of the controversial ITV show was suspended with immediate effect after the tragic death and it has now been revealed that during the episode, which will never be broadcast, Steve had failed a lie detector, where he was asked if he had cheated on his fiancée Jane Callaghan.
His friend Michael Bradley has claimed to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He said, ‘I’ve had enough, I’m going to kill myself.’ He failed the lie detector test but was adamant he hadn’t done anything wrong, saying, ‘I’ll come up with flying colours, I’ve never cheated on her.’ He got made out to be wrong but he wasn’t. Those lie detector tests aren’t 100 per cent. Steve said he’d recently split with his fiancee but was getting reconciled. He contacted Jeremy Kyle himself to prove he was innocent. That’s how confident he was that he hadn’t done anything."
In a statement, ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ producers confirmed that episode of the show would never air, as they also revealed they would be conducting "a review of this episode of the show".
A spokesperson for ITV told BANG Showbiz: "Everyone at ITV and ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ is shocked and saddened at the news of the death of a participant in the show a week after the recording of the episode they featured in. Our thoughts are with their family and friends. ITV will not screen the episode in which they featured … Given the seriousness of this event, ITV has also decided to suspend both filming and broadcasting of ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ with immediate effect in order to give it time to conduct a review of this episode of the show."
