Jeremy Kyle has landed his own current affairs programme on talkRADIO.
The 53-year-old TV presenter – who began his broadcast career in radio – will host ‘The Jeremy Kyle Radio Show’, which will explore the biggest news stories of the week, and he can’t wait to return to his roots with high-profile guests and debates on the own weekly programme.
He said: "Radio was my first love as a broadcaster and where it all began for my on-air career.
"I can’t wait to return with talkRADIO, reviewing the week’s biggest stories and unpicking the issues with some big name guests too.
"As with all of my shows, audiences can expect open, honest opinion, a direct approach and no doubt a few a disagreements along the way."
Dennie Morris, programme director at talkRADIO, believes ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ presenter will "hugely appeal" to the station’s listeners.
He added: "talkRADIO aims to get the nation talking and that’s exactly what we’ll get with Jeremy, who is synonymous with up-front, unfiltered opinion.
"This broadcasting legend will hugely appeal to our listeners and bring in new audiences with his no-nonsense attitude and candid, outspoken views."
Throughout his career, Jeremy has presented ‘Jezza’s Virgin Confessions’ on Virgin Radio, and ‘Capital Confessions’ on Capital FM.
Listeners can tune in to the first ‘The Jeremy Kyle Radio Show’ on Saturday 18 August, 1-4pm, available on talkRADIO DAB, online via talkRADIO.co.uk, and via the iOS and Android apps.
