Jennifer Metcalfe’s baby boy is sleeping through the night

Jennifer Metcalfe’s baby boy is sleeping through the night.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star – who is known for playing mega bitch Mercedes McQueen – finally feels "alive again" now that her four-month-old son Daye, whom she has with her partner Greg Lake, can snooze for 10 hours without waking up numerous times.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Inside Soap Awards, held at London’s iconic Hippodrome Casino, on Monday (06.11.17) night, the 35-year-old beauty said: "He’s fab, he’s sleeping through. It’s been four months of hard work – absolutely amazing but difficult – and the fact that he’s now sleeping 10 hours is just a dream for us. I feel alive again and I can actually have a conversation."
The brunette beauty has managed to spring back into shape after giving birth to Daye and thinks the Lighter Life 5-2 diet, in which for two days a week you enjoy 4 LighterLife Fast products and the rest of the time you eat normally, has helped the process.
She said: "I follow the Lighter Life 5-2 diet so it’s like a maintenance rather than to lose weight – just to maintain what you have. I just find it easier than doing my normal eating because when you’ve got a little one the last thing you want to think about is tea."
Jennifer – who is currently living in Newcastle with Greg and their son – has been so busy with her little boy that she hasn’t had time to catch up on the Channel 4 soap.
But she was over the moon when she found out that Lysette Anthony and Nicole Barber-Lane – who play Marnie Nightingale and Myra McQueen respectively in the programme – had bagged the Best Partnership gong at this year’s glamorous ceremony because she doesn’t think the show gets the recognition it deserves.
