Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are moving in together.
The ‘Shades of Blue’ star – who has nine-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony – and the retired baseball player are ready to take their eight-month relationship to the next level and have begun house hunting together.
The 48-year-old singer-and-actress recently put her New York City home on the market for $27 million and she and Alex, 42, are now said to be looking for a new apartment big enough to accommodate themselves, Jennifer’s twins and the former sportsman’s daughters, Natasha, 12, and nine-year-old Ella.
A source told People magazine: "They will invest together in a new home when they find the perfect one.
"They are starting to make more financial decisions together. It’s nice for Jennifer to be with a man who has his own money and spends it wisely.
"Jennifer is truly the happiest she has ever been.
"They really just complement each other and make each other better people. She thinks the world of Alex and is very excited about their future together."
The couple have been working hard to raise money for disaster relief in Puerto Rico and their joint efforts have only further strengthened their relationship.
The insider said: "They are equally passionate about different causes and charities.
"Jennifer has been upset about the Puerto Rico situation. She knew she had to help. Alex has been very supportive and encouraging.
"They are similar in that they are the embodiment of working towards your dreams."
Alex recently praised his girlfriend as a "great mother and friend".
He said: "Jennifer is an amazing person. She’s the hardest working … She’s got like 10 jobs. Look, she loves sports. She’s an athlete herself. She’s a great mother, great daughter, great friend. She’s just someone that … she’s fun to be around."
And the ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker previously confessed she feels like she has a really "pure, true love" with Alex.
She shared: "I’m in a good relationship. I feel like I can say that for the first time. Not that I didn’t have great relationships, full of love and adventure, but this is the first relationship I’ve been in where I feel like we really make each other better. We complement each other and there’s a really pure, true love, just wanting to support the other person and make them happy.
"So there’s a different selflessness in the love that’s beautiful and different. And healthy! It’s a very healthy relationship. We both want it to be healthy, we both have kids and want to set an example. It’s really nice it’s really different."
