Jennifer Lopez says she’s "forever grateful" to have children.
The 47-year-old-singer, who has nine-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, doesn’t take her family for granted because she once feared she would never become a mother.
Gushing about her daughter and son, who she affectionately calls her "coconuts," the ‘Shades of Blue’ star said: "They just make life so much better. I’m forever grateful.
"I didn’t have kids until later, and I almost thought that it wasn’t going to happen for me. I’m very aware that I was blessed with that. I don’t take it for granted for one day."
The ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker gave birth to the twins when she was 38 after finding love with Marc following a string of failed romances.
Jennifer is currently juggling her Las Vegas residency, her new TV show and rehearsals for her upcoming NBC live musical, ‘Bye Bye Birdie,’ and says like she and her children are like "gypsies travelling all over the place."
Asked how she manages to stay on top of everything, she told the ‘Today’ show: "I take it one day at a time. We’re doing the best we can."
