Janet Street-Porter has only been able to poop three times in 10 days since undergoing knee replacement surgery.
The 71-year-old presenter returned to ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (24.07.18) for the first time since going under the knife to get her "worn out" joint repaired, and revealed she has been suffering from "profound constipation" following her op.
Guest panellist Mel B suggested the journalist should seek out a Reiki healing professional – someone who conducts the Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation – to help cure her faecal situation.
Janet – who revealed the large scar on her knee – admitted that eating high fibre fruits hasn’t been a success.
Speaking on the ITV daytime show, she said: "I was getting more constipated by the minute. Because of all the pain killers you are taking.
"I’ve had figs, figs, figs, prune, figs. If anyone has a remedy for profound constipation … without going into detail I’ve been three times in 10 days, during the break Mel told me to get a Reiki healer as apparently they can move it.
"I think I need dynamite!"
Janet previously revealed she was out of her hospital bed just two hours after the surgery had been completed because she didn’t want to pee in a potty.
She said: "I’m fine, it went really, really well. I was up walking two hours after the operation. I don’t do potties!
"I want to thank everyone for all the messages I’ve had on Twitter and email, it’s been lovely. I’m doing exercises every hour of every day and I’m sick of it!
"I’m hoping to be back next Tuesday, I’m up walking about and I’ve not used a stick once! I’m like the $60 million woman!"
Janet also couldn’t wait to get out of hospital and back home with her long-term partner Peter Spanton and their pet dog, because she couldn’t eat the terrible food on offer on the ward.
She added: "On the hospital menu they had something called bubble and squeak risotto. I complained to everyone about the food."
