Jamie Vardy lands fly-on-the-wall show

Jamie Vardy has landed his own fly-on-the-wall reality TV show.
The 30-year-old footballer has agreed to let the cameras into his V9 Academy, which he co-founded with John Morris, as he goes on the hunt for the next star of non-league football.
A spokesperson for Sky told the Daily Star newspaper: "With unprecedented access, the series provides a glimpse into the lives of talented amateur players who have been shortlisted to attend the V9 Academy in front of scouts from around the world, in a bid to become the next Jamie Vardy."
The series will also see Jamie – who plays as a striker for Premier League club Leicester City and the England national team – open up about his career and the journey he made in order to be successful.
He said: "There’s massive talent out there in non-league footballer and I hope this documentary has demonstrated that, by putting the spotlight on players trying to find a way to the top. I’m now hopeful that some of the clubs, scouts and players that were sceptical about what John and I set out to do are won over. There are many more hidden gems to be found outside the league and V9 will do all it can to help players realise their ultimate dream of playing professional football for club and country."
Meanwhile, although Jamie is wrapped up in his reality TV show, he’s not the only one being approached by television executives as his wife Rebekah Vardy is reportedly set to head into the Australian jungle for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ later this year.
A source said recently: "Bosses were really keen on Becky last year and had some very productive discussions. They are planning to have another chat with her this year.
"She’s glamorous but she’s fiery too. She could bring lots to the table and she seemed keen before.
"Having had a healthy baby back in January, she’d be available when the show returns later this year."
