Jamie Dornan’s sneaker obsession

Jamie Dornan once had a huge sneaker collection.
The 34-year-old Northern Irish actor – who can currently be seen in supernatural thriller ‘The 9th Life Of Louis Dax’ – has confessed that he once had a "Missy Elliott-style" collection of sports shoes, but he ultimately decided it was "silly" to have so many so donated them to charity.
Speaking to website Collider, the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star said: "I used to have a big trainer, or sneaker, obsession. I was really into Nike Dunks. I had the whole high top dunks – I don’t think I have a pair anymore I gave them all to charity because I had this Missy Elliott-style collection, and I was like, ‘This is really silly, I don’t need all these shoes and they could actually go to someone who really does.’ "
Dornan – who is married to English actress and singer/songwriter Amelia Warner, with whom he has two daughters with – is certain his collection was worth quite a lot of money, but he knows that cash is better off in charity coffers.
He added: "I actually had a decent collection. There was a shop in Belfast that my mate worked at it, it’s not there anymore, but it specialised in one off trainers. I used to order them from there, so I definitely know I had some valuable ones, but all the better for charity than me hanging on to them."
