James Jordan’s father has suffered a second stroke.
The 42-year-old former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star has begged fans to pray for his beloved dad, who previously tested positive for Covid-19 after being hospitalised for his first stroke.
James tweeted: "Unfortunately my dad has gone downhill possibly because no testing is done over the weekend Hopefully sending him for a scan today to see what’s going on. Please say another prayer for my dad as it seemed to work last time ."
James’ father was rushed to hospital in March after suffering strokes and seizures.
The star shared at the time: "Hi guys I’ve been in hospital since 7.30 this morning where my hero and dad was rushed in after having a stroke and seizures.
"Sitting with him now and I’m asking if you could all say a little prayer for him. I’m not ready to lose him!"
And there was more bad news for his dad as he was diagnosed with Covid-19 two weeks after being admitted to hospital.
James tweeted: "Just when you think things couldn’t get any worse!
"After being in hospital for nearly 2 weeks after his stroke my dad has now tested positive to coronavirus
"He is also fighting an infection he recently got in his arm (Cellulitis)… God, please give my dad a break. StayAtHome (sic)"
The dancer – who is married to fellow star Ola Jordan – later described his dad as his "hero", and revealed he’s more concerned about his family than his own health.
James added: "My dad has always been my hero… When I spoke to him he was more worried about my mum, sister & family He kept saying " Don’t worry about me, I’ve got this"
"The sad thing is today he was supposed to be transferred to another hospital where he would have a TV… He was so excited (sic)"
James and Ola became parents for the first time in February when they welcomed a baby girl into the world.
