James Corden’s parents have become friends with wrestlers The New Day after he sent them to cover ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’.
The ‘Late Late Show’ presenter enlisted the help of his mum and dad, Margaret and Malcolm, to attend the event for his programme, and they made pals with the wrestling stable – who are made up of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods – after bonding with them.
Malcom gifted the wrestlers a Union Jack top hat after they won the championship at London’s The O2 and beforehand the couple told the group they had formed their own tag team, M&M Mayhem.
He told The New Day: "Watch your backs, we’re M&M Mayhem."
At the beginning of the segment, Malcom said: "We’re here to find out more about WWE."
Margaret added: "I haven’t got a clue."
The pair met up with several WWE stars and James’ dad seemed to having a great time, particularly when he tried on one of the costumes, which involved putting some tights on his head.
Margaret also got into the swing of things and couldn’t quite believe it when her head managed to fit under the armpit of Big Show.
The wrestler gave her a hug and joked: "I love it when she gives me a hug because she’s holding my butt the whole time. It’s awesome."
Sheamus also propositioned Margaret, telling her: "You’re absolutely beautiful. What are you doing later? How about you scrub me up?"
Amid her chuckles, she replied: "Oh definitely."
